Ladie K Mraz Model, Actress, Writer, Filmmaker, and 3X CEO, Katharin “Ladie K” Mraz, proclaims herself “The Original Self-Expressionist and Starving Artist” promoting free will and self-expression among minorities and women in the media. Born in South Korea, Mraz was abandoned on the streets of Seoul, S. Korea roughly at 10 months of age. Placed into an orphanage for about a year and a half, an Irish-German American family adopted her in 1987 despite health concerns expressed by Korean doctors.
After reaching the U.S., she was able to flourish as an artist, musician, writer, and athlete during her earliest school years despite previous threats of chronic heart disease. For the majority of her childhood Katie, as they called her in school, pursued farming as her primary career choice. It wasn’t until she stepped on her first stage in Junior high that she knew she would be a performer and artist for the rest of her life.
Today, K, as she prefers to be addressed, spends her days running her 3 media companies. Ladie K Productions, Inc. specializing in media and marketing production was established in 2011. Smart Pretty Designs, Inc., a production art and design company, and Creative Works Media, Inc, a company focusing on creating creative media for women, children, and minorities were created in 2014 in order to create more specialized divisions for Ladie K Productions. She also is a contributor for Revia Magazine, an International Polish- American Magazine based out of Chicago, and is Regional Editor for Validate Magazine, a collaborative independent artist magazine based out of New York (see previous publications at www.ladiek.com/writer). In her free time she mentors young and aspiring models, actresses, and filmmakers in the industry kick-off their careers. Read more about Ladie K HERE.
